I have never been to Venice, but yes its on my list. The Venetian offers you a glimpse of the gondola magic, with its paintings, tunnels and the music. Perfect way to spend a romantic evening.

4 ~ Stroll the Strip

My most favorite activity when exploring a new city. Walking through the lanes of downtown, passing through the streets, with some tea or coffee in hand 🙂

I have mentioned about exploring the strip in my other posts. Vegas is unique in the sense that you are walking through the hotel doors, rather then the streets.

I began from Hotel Excalibur, walked through Luxor and then to New York New York. You can stop at the Caesars and rest in their breezy compound.

5 ~ M and M

A visit to the M and M store is a must for every chocolate lover.

Vegas offers various options for day tours. Some destinations include –

There are incredible artworks all around the city. The hotels lined up along the strip are prime examples of awesome architecture in the Sin City.

Within Crystals, City Center’s high-end mall, light artist James Turrell has installed Shards of Color—four recessed geometric shapes lit in neon. There are many more things that you can witness inside the hotels, City Centre area, forum shops at Caesars to name a few. And yes all FREE

10 ~ Casino and Gambling

Last but not the least, Vegas is known for casinos! You will find slot machines everywhere including the airport and your hotel lobby.

Our guide told us that playing at the old hotels would probably win you more money then trying your hands in the newly built casinos.

Whats your favorite activity in the Sin City?

  1. Great roundup of things to do in Vegas! I LOVE Vegas and have been a few times. Another awesome arty thing aside from the architecture you mentioned is during my visit the Bellagio had a Monet exhibition within the hotel that was free! Was not expecting to see that there but it was such a wonderful surprise. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
