The vibrant downtown neighborhood of Asheville with its heritage and cultural treasures pulls tourists to the area, day and night. And this is one of the popular neighborhoods to stay in Asheville, where restaurants, cafes, and shops are found in abundance.

West Asheville neighborhood is another area to consider for your visit. Filled with cute boutiques and small stores selling colorful vintage items, you will find a good variety of accommodation options in West Asheville, and we have included some of them in this Airbnb guide as well.

Guest Review: “If you want to stay somewhere so clean, so stylish, so cozy that you won’t want to leave, Karen’s Tiny Home is your place. Of course, if you want to leave you are one turn away from downtown Asheville through a mountain tunnel! I would give this place 7 stars if I could but the app won’t allow it. This place should be on an app for luxury vacations but don’t tell Karen that because I want to come back. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! I mean, I wouldn’t recommend it if I thought I could keep it a secret but this place speaks for itself. Karen makes sure that if you need her, she’s there for you digitally or otherwise. She’ll drop you the secret list to all the greatest spots in and around town well before your day ever comes so that you can plan. She sterilizes the house like a hospital and keeps it looking beautiful like it’s ready for a photoshoot. Seriously, find an excuse to stay at this place!”

The proximity to downtown Asheville was perfect… (It’s a little under 15 minutes to the heart of DT) so lots of great restaurants, breweries, and shopping. You can really tell that Celeste and Chris put a lot of time into the Yurt. I enjoyed the decor and craftsmanship so much we are hoping to build a yurt for ourselves one day. They provided a binder with local tips/suggestions. Instructions on how to use a compost toilet were easy. My favorite part was all of the windows facing the mountains.
