Our experience at the La Terrazza Sul Duomo
We arrived in Florence by train from Milan. Milan to Florence via high-speed train is only a 2-hour ride away.
We got down at the main train station – Santa Maria Novella and walked 10 minutes to reach the B&B La Terrazza Sul Duomo.
- It is 10-minute walk from the main train station
- It is 7 km away from Florence Peretola airport (a taxi ride costs € 22.00, and additional charges apply for luggage)
The bed and breakfast is housed inside a 19th-century building. To enter the premises you have to call in the buzzer and take the stairs or an elevator to reach the second floor.
Once you reach the door of La Terrazza Sul Duomo, knock or ring the bell to get in.
You will be greeted at the reception. They are open every day from 08:00 to 13:30 and from 14:00 to 19:00.
- Check-in starts from 14:00 until 19:00
- Check-out until 11:00
We booked a Deluxe Double room. It was beautifully furnished with a nice bed, seating area, TV, and an attached bathroom. The bed was comfortable, clean and the decor felt very luxurious and romantic.
The lights and wall paintings made the suite cozy, and vintage-y in spirit!
Our room was equipped with the following – towel warmer, Air Conditioning: Radiators (hot/cold), fridge, a snack bar, Boiler with Tea and Coffee, an LCD TV, and a digital safe.
The attached bathroom came with a shower, great quality toiletries, and a hairdryer.
B&B La Terrazza Sul Duomo Firenze also offers energizing relaxing massages in the room (on request).
